HOW IT GOT STARTED

       My passion is real estate, food and travel.  We all know that each one of these thrive because the kind words and referrals of those that appreciate hard work, our unique talents and experiences that we can give to those that partake in our services.  Being a Realtor, I love referrals and this is my way of giving back to those hard working restaurant owners that give above and beyond to make the experience of their patrons exceptional.  

        I'm not talking about those large chain restaurants that have their prepackaged, food delivery services drop off their "home made" goodies (please note my sarcasm).  I'm talking about those one off, mom and pop shop, hole in the wall, often unnoticed gems, that take pride in their craft and deliver a remarkable meal that is worthy of telling everyone we know about it.

        I don't have a culinary or hospitality degree, but I would like to say that I have reached my semi-centennial in perfecting my eating expertise.  If I could entertain my followers or encourage them to try the "little place on the corner" then my job is done.

        My love of travel has allowed me to visit restaurants, diners and bars across the country.  This blog will allow me to keep track of where I have been and hopefully, with the help of my followers, will help me plan where I want to go!
